What we collect

When you call or message us on WhatsApp, you may give us:

• Your name and phone number
• Your vehicle's year, make, model, and VIN or plate if you send it
• Photos or videos of your vehicle
• Where and when to meet for the inspection
• What we found and the quotes you receive

Our website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and it has no forms. It doesn't store anything you type. Our website host keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.

How we use it

• To book and carry out your inspection
• To get you a written quote from a partner shop, if you want one
• To follow up about your inspection or repair, including asking for a review
• To keep basic business and tax records

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything unrelated to your vehicle.

Who we share it with

• Partner shops: only when you ask us to get a quote or book a repair, and only what the shop needs (your name, phone and vehicle details). We'll tell you which shop before we share.
• Service providers we use to run the business: WhatsApp (Meta), our phone carrier, our website host (Netlify), and Google if you contact us through Google.
• When the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, where it can be subject to local laws.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep inspection and contact records for up to 2 years after your last contact with us, then delete them, unless we need them longer for tax or legal reasons. Photos are deleted once they're no longer needed for your quote or repair.

Our accounts use strong passwords and two-step verification, and only the people who need your information can see it.

Your choices

• Ask what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it
• Reply STOP to any message to stop follow-ups
• Ask us not to share your details with a partner shop. We'll give you the shop's contact instead
